About our Hire Hub
The Chelmsford Hire Hub is our newest location to join FTH and is based in Sandon in Essex. This is a prime location to provide plant, tool, access and landscape equipment hire throughout Essex, Cambridge and Suffolk. For customers working in and around Greater London, it allows easy access via the A12 and A414 for project support throughout this busy area.
The hire hub was previously known as Independent Hire and the acquisition was made by FTH Hire Group in May 2023. It has already seen considerable investment on new hire equipment, facilities, transport resources, as well as the local team, to enable first class support for all customers.

Emma Bemister - Hire Hub Manager
Emma has over 20 years of experience and knowledge in plant and tool hire. She oversees the hire desk, making sure the Hire Hub runs smoothly, along with the transport team. Emma is the go to person, who ensures that you always get the right equipment in the right place at the right time.
George Richards - Business Development
George has worked in the construction industry for over 10 years, both in welfare hire and the manufacture of steel reinforcement solutions. George loves being out on the road and visiting customers, so if you would like to discuss a project or your hire needs in person, you know you will be in safe hands with her.
Darcie Plume & Harli-Mae Cadogan - Hire Controllers
